What are the User Profiles in Celum
Celum has four user-profiles, namely:
- Super-Administrator
- Standard Administrator
- Read-Only Users
- Pin Access Users
Let’s discuss each user’s capabilities in a bit more detail:
SUPER-ADMINISTRATOR:
The super-administrator has full access to the Celum system (back-end and front-end). The super-administrator will be responsible for setting up and configuring Celum on the server and will ensure all updates are applied.
STANDARD ADMINISTRATOR :
Standard Administrators have full access to the front-end of Celum and will generally be responsible for the following tasks:
• Management and creation of user groups
• Assigning users to the system and controlling access
• Linking users to groups from Active Directory
• Managing permissions across various user groups
• Controlling the folder structure within Celum
• Controlling categories/ info fields/ keyword set-up etc
• Manage download formats
• View global statistics
READ-ONLY USER:
Read-Only users will be able to do the following:
• Search and view objects that they have permissions to see
• Download objects (again permission based)
• Create object collections (permission based)
• Create Pin Access (permission based)
PIN ACCESS USER:
PIN Access users can only access and download objects for which they have been assigned a PIN for. Usually this PIN would be emailed to them with a hyperlink to the objects they have been assigned. PIN Access users will not be able to view anything else in the system.
pinACCESS is an efficient way of adding “limited read-only users” without having to purchase extra READ ONLY seats. pinACCESS is an enhancement module that is purchased separately.
